Coronation Street's Jack James Ryan shared a look back at the highs and lows of his 2022.
The 26-year-old gave his fans on Instagram a recap of his year and everything he experienced, both good and bad, as he looked to the future. Jack said he felt it was important to be upfront and honest with his fans as he said he would never have made it through the year if it wasn't for their support and his family by his side.
The actor revealed he struggled massively with his mental health throughout 2022 and was empathetic to others who may still be processing a difficult year. Taking to his Instagram stories, he said: "I'm continually overwhelmed by the love and support you guys have shown for the character and for me. It's been mega to see people get behind Jacob's journey."

Jack - who is a testicular cancer survivor - then shared a snap of himself appearing on Lorraine earlier this year before becoming an ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
He went on to discuss some of the lower points in the year as he admitted he had tough time getting through it. Jack said: "If you've made it this far I appreciate you for joining me on my journey.
"Evidently this year has had some amazing highs but I think it's also important to share this year has without give me my biggest lows. If I didn't have the most incredible family and friends I simply don't know how I would've got through this year.
"I know a lot of people have struggled mentally this year and I just want to say you're not alone." Jack signed off the end-of-year message by teasing that there is "really exciting news" coming in 2023.
He added: "Thanks for the love and the laughs, and here's to 2023 x."
