Former Coronation Street star Hayley Tamaddon is returning to the small screen, seven years after she walked away from the Manchester cobbles.
The veteran actress, 45, became a household name after playing Del Dingle on Emmerdale for two years, before going on to appear in a string of shows including Shameless and Waterloo Road.
Now, seven years after her last television role, she's returning to the small screen with two former Coronation Street stars.
The mum-of-one will be starring alongside former on-screen lovers Catherine Tyldesley and Shayne Ward, who played Eva Price and Aidan Connor.
Sharing the news on social media, the actress who played Andrea Beckett on the popular soap couldn't contain her joy.
"Been filming something amazing this past week," she exclaimed before adding: "With the most amazing cast and crew! Feeling very grateful at the moment."
Hayley shared a string of snaps alongside Catherine and Shayne, as well as Brookside icon Claire Sweeney and Emily Atack's mum, Kate Robbins.
Her fans were delighted with the news, with one replying: "Good to know you are going to be back on our screens again Hayley."
"After worrying not long ago, seems things worked out. So happy for you." said another.
While a third gushed: "That's great news Hayley love so happy for you."
The Channel 5 drama will see Shayne, who found fame on The X Factor take on the role of a former police detective who makes a huge career change and becomes a cruise singer.
However, despite stepping out of the police force, his character later finds himself solving a string of murders on the ship alongside a fellow police officer, played by Catherine.
Reflecting on her new job, Catherine has previously said: "Being reunited with Shayne on a Mediterranean cruise has been so much fun and this series has been a joy to make and I'm sure will be a joy to watch – who doesn't love a cruise?"
However, it is unclear what role Hayley will play in the drama but while she has remained off-screen in recent years, she's enjoyed a stellar theatre career.
Since walking away from Coronation Street, she's appeared in the likes of Chicago, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
The actress also enjoyed a successful stint on Dancing On Ice, going on to win the series in 2010 with professional skater Dan Whiston, before returning for All Stars in 2014.
