Coronation Street's Gary Windass will be sweating next week when he finds out that Laura Neelan has hired a private investigator to try and find her estranged husband Rick Neelan.
New ITV spoilers reveal that things will tense up when Gary and Maria find out that Kelly has been secretly seeing her mum Laura.
During an episode on Sunday 6, Gary questions Kelly as to where she was until the early hours and she makes out she was running as it helps her to relax.
However, she later confesses to Simon that she's been visiting Laura and is caring for her as well as attending school and cramming in shifts at the barbers.
Simon urges her to talk to Gary and Maria but Kelly refuses - and it's not long before she's caught out.
In order to focus on her council campaign, on Monday Maria tells Kelly she needs to increase her shifts at the barbers.
Kelly wonders how she’s going to fit in visits to her Mum as well as working and Simon is concerned when Kelly takes a call from her Mum to say she’s fallen.
Maria is left furious when Kelly fails to turn up for work and Simon realises it’s time to tell Gary and Maria the truth.
As Kelly tends to her Mum, they’re interrupted by Gary which leads her to admit what’s going on, but how will Gary and Maria respond?
A couple of days later, Laura announces that she intends to hire a private investigator to track down Rick so she can get her hands on his money for Kelly.
In a bid to scupper her plan, Gary tells Laura that he’ll sort a PI meeting up with Lenny, but Gary explains he wants him to pretend to track down Rick but make no progress whatsoever.
But by Friday Gary is sweating as they meet with the investigator and Laura tells them that Gary was the last person to see Rick alive.
Will Gary be able to play his best poker face? Or will the events of 2019 all come crashing down on him?
Gary killed gangster Rick Neelan a deadly fight in the woods and later hid the body, before continuing to live his life on the cobbles as if nothing had happened.
Recent images showed actor Mikey North filming scenes in which he appears to be trying to break into a building site by climbing over a wall.
However, his plan is thwarted by a security guard, who quizzes him on why he's hanging around there before sending him on his way.
Police are soon on location too, where they manage to locate a body - is this where Gary buried Rick Neelan?
