Coronation Street's Daisy Midgeley has been targeted by stalker Justin - but her own love life is much less dramatic.
Daisy has been busy planning her wedding to Daniel - played by Rob Mallard - but Justin is adamant he should be with her. Whilst he started off seemingly friendly, he has started stalking her and is convinced she wants to be with him. Things only seem to be getting worse, with Daisy set to be targeted by Justin in a horror acid attack.
Thankfully, the actress - Charlotte Jordan - has a much less drama-filled love life and has been dating boyfriend Paul for a number of years. The pair regularly share sweet snaps of them on holiday together and also post photos of them and their adorable dog.
Paul has even had a starring role in the ITV soap and him. His family are lifelong fans of the show and regularly tune in to watch the action from the Cobbles, long before Daisy even arrived on the scene.
He had to stand in for Ryan when Daisy was involved in an intimate scene with him during the Covid lockdown. She had to touch his thigh but due to social distancing rules, Paul stepped in and it's his thigh she's seen touching on screen.
Speaking about how he got involved in some filming for the ITV soap, she told The Sun: "They roped my boyfriend in because we're shooting socially distanced. He's not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street.
"It was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff. It was very sweet. It was lovely."
His family is a big fan of the show and Charlotte revealed she dishes soap secrets to her future in-laws to get them on her side, as she revealed: "They’re always asking what’s coming and what’s going on and where a story is going. I know I’m not supposed to tell them, but I really want to be their favorite, so I’m doing it. You like Daisy. They think she’s fun. They like a character that’s a little salty."
Charlotte confessed her boyfriend is a big fan of Daisy's style - but her own style couldn't be further from that.
"He loves her. I’m basically an 84-year-old woman walking around in pants and a boxy t-shirt. He always jokes, 'Why are these for me? Why don’t you bring home some of Daisy’s miniskirts?' she quipped.
"I’m just saying, ‘You knew my style when you met me. If you want to see the miniskirts, turn on the TV!'"
