Coronation Street star Craig Tinker has been flooded with praise as he stunned his co-stars and fans with a major achievement away from the famous cobbles. the actor, who plays Craig Tinker in the ITV soap, was wished luck back in February when he shared his next running ambitions with his social media followers.
It comes two years after Colson revealed his epic 10 stone weight loss for the first time in 2020. He completely overhauled his lifestyle when lockdown hit, and the cast and crew suspended filming at the Salford-based set.
Colson packed up and went back to his family and it was then he found his love of running. As he got stuck into his new way of life, the soap star documented his journey in his own YouTube film, Bored Of Being the Fat Kid. And over the weekend, he successfully completed his biggest challenge date.

Earlier this year, sharing two photos with his hundreds of thousands of followers, Colson could be seen running in a woodland area, sporting black sportswear and bright orange trainers. Revealing all, he said: "Sooooo… I’m finally running a marathon! Stockholm 2023. Seems the obvious next step on my fitness journey right?!?"
And almost four months later, Colson returned to social media with a snap of himself beaming for the camera at event and looked incredible while doing so as he showed off his new physique in black gym gear. "3:44:11," he captioned the snap along with an emoji of the Swedish flag.
But it was soon all about the recovery - and the treats - as he shared a photo of himself tucking into an ice cream, joking: "Ice Cream is a proven remedy for cramp right?" And on thing was for sure, he wasn't letting go of his medal as he kept it firmly around his neck and held it up with his sweet treat in his other hand.
Responding to his achievement, Corrie's Toyah Habeeb actress Georgia Taylor wrote: "You’re f*****g magnificent." Andy Whyment, who plays on-screen step-dad Kirk Sutherland, wrote: "Well done mate." Gareth Pierce, who stars as Todd Grimshaw, commented: "Cracking! Well done, my man. Get some salts in that bath and put your feet up."
Jenny Connor actress Sally Ann Matthews penned: "AMAZING!! You should be so proud of yourself x." Former Corrie star Lucy Fallon replied: "Absolute champ." Before his fans and followers also rushed to comment.
