Coronation Street's Colson Smith has slammed the soap for posting an unflattering snap of him on their social media page.
The actor, 23, plays Craig Tinker in the show and is involved in a juicy storyline with Ellie Leach, who plays his onscreen girlfriend Faye Windass.
Sharing a pic of the pair, the Corrie account posted: "Will Faye come clean about her near kiss with Michael?!"
However, Colson was fuming when he saw it. Hitting back at the show in the comments section, he wrote "Nice angle of me this :/".
But many fans were quick to reassure Craig as one said: "Aw you're gorgeous".
"it's relatable, makes you genuine and real and normal, it's actually wonderful as it shows compassion and care," another insisted while a third wrote: "you look great!"
And another joked: "Why do I find this comment relatable?"
The Games star has shed 10 stone since deciding to lose weight in January 2020 and admitted he used to wear a disguise to go jogging because he was embarrassed about his size.
Sharing a video of his first ever run, the young actor revealed how he tied a scarf round his face, wore a hat and used a balaclava to hide his identity.
"Earlier I posted my morning run, and after I posted it I thought about how far I'd come in my running and my general life," he captioned the clip.
"If I’d have seen that post on my feed back then I’d have hated it, it would have seemed impossible and a million miles away."
Earlier this year Colson was put through his paces on ITV's The Games.
He gave as good as he got on the show for which he had to learn how to swim.
The actor heartbreakingly revealed he never learnt to swim at school after feeling self-conscious over his weight.
Colson went on to compete in the pool in the ITV show and smashed his personal best.
Speaking about the hurdles he'd overcome in the competition, he said: “In my everyday life I go to the gym and I go running, which normal people do, but I had never been on a dive board.
"I couldn’t swim, so I taught myself to swim and then learned from the best coaches around here.”
