Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent 'thrilled' as she gives birth to second child

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has given birth to her second child.

The 28-year-old actress and footballer partner Kean Bryan, who are already parents to son Mexx, are said to be 'thrilled' to have welcomed another baby boy to the family.

The couple revealed their new addition, who was born on Tuesday, has been named Monroe.

The actress and proud mum took to social media to share the first snap of her newborn, who was born at the same time of 8:14am as her first child was.

"In the morning of Tuesday 4th May at 8.14am; the exact same time as his big brother .. our little boy came into the world," Brooke wrote.

She added: "Monroe S J Bryan you’ve added so much love & happiness to our little family! Me, your daddy & big brother are all besotted with you.

A representative for the couple confirmed to OK! Magazine that mum and baby are doing well.

The actress has been inundated with messages from well-wishers after announcing the joyful news on social media.

"Brooke and Kean are thrilled and mum and baby are settling in well," a representative told the publication.

The couple are already proud parents to an adorable son called Mexx, who is set to turn two in October.

Prior to giving birth to her second child, the Coronation Street actress said she she hoped her sons would become best friends for life.

"It’s nice to know I’m having a boy and he will be so close in age to Mexx hopefully they will be little besties," Brooke told followers in a Q&A at the start of the year.

Brooke and Kean, who plays for Sheffield United, met in 2016 and then went on to move in together two years later.

The lovebirds appear smitten and couldn't be happier with expanding their adorable family.

The actress left Coronation Street in 2019 to go on maternity leave after welcoming her first child, with her last scenes airing that October. She is yet to make a return to TV screens.
