Former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has told her footballer fiancé Kean Bryan "we're finished" after she had a nightmare before starting her new big job at Hits Radio when he accidentally fell asleep upstairs.
The 31-year-old actress took to her Instagram page to explain that she had been locked out of her house while her 26-year-old Sheffield United footballer partner was still sound asleep in her home - which sent her into a frenzy.
The star was left raging when she had planned to have a productive morning before she began her new job on Hits Radios' evening show, filling in for Gemma Atkinson whilst she is currently on maternity leave to give birth to her second child.
Brooke landed the job, which is a huge step in her career since Corrie, after being pitched up against other famous faces who had hosted specials of the show before. She will be on air every weekday from Manchester as she presents alongside Mike Toolan.
But her first day didn't exactly go to plan as she explained to her fans on social media that she was locked out of the house after taking her children to nursery - talk about a stressful start to the day!
Posting a photo of her from outside the house, she said: "First day of my new job, I thought I'll drop the kids at nursery. I'll come home. I'll put a wash on, I'll be really productive, put some washing away... got back. Locked out."
She then went on to explain that her fiance Kean was still sound asleep inside the house despite her creative attempts to wake him from his deep slumber.
She added: "Kean meanwhile is upstairs in bed! Blissfully asleep!!!!
"I've thrown balls at the window... Banged on the door! Banged on the window with the brush... nothing. ZILTCH. So now I'm sat here in the sun outside boiling because I'm in a hoodie... It can only get better."
Keeping her followers posted about what was going on, she posted a follow-up video which said: "Happy Monday guys. First 9 hours of being 31... it's not for me! Take me back to 30."
Brooke added: "The most annoying thing about this whole situation, bar the fact I'm in a hood [and] I'm absolutely boiling, is the fact that I've been 10 minutes. It's been 10 minutes since me and the kids left to go to nursery and I don't understand.
"I've thrown balls at the window, I've banged on the window with a brush, I've banged on the door front and back, I've shouted his name. I don't understand how somebody is so blissfully asleep that they can't hear that. I don't get it. I don't get it at all. I don't think that's normal. I don't think it's that that's normal that you are not that aware of your surroundings that you can't hear that.
"I'm really mad. I'm really mad at him. I hope he's having an awful dream."
Keeping her fans in the loop with the nightmare ordeal, Brooke explained that she decided to go to her aunt's house whilst her fiance slept.
She said: "I know people find this really funny but it's really annoying. I find it really, really annoying.
"Stuff like that really annoys me. Anyway, I'm not sitting in the garden, I've come to my Auntie's for a brew.
"Kean if you see this with all the 15,000 missed calls, we're finished."
