Brooke Vincent has announced her engagement to footballer beau Kean Bryan.
The 29-year-old former Coronation Street star shared her happy news on Instagram on Thursday, after they welcomed their second child together last year.
Brooke, who is best known for playing Sophie Webster on the ITV soap, posted a sweet video on social media which showed a drawing of handprints on paper with the outline of her hand having a ring on one of her fingers.
Next to the handprint, there are the words: "Mrs Bryan to be".
The actress then captioned her post alongside a ring and present emojis: "Coming Soon… The Bryans"
The couple already had a toddler Mexx before they welcomed Monroe in May last year.
After this, Brooke took to social media to confirm that she would not be making a return to Corrie anytime soon as she wanted to concentrate on her family for the time being.
She told fans: “The boys need me at the minute, I haven’t got the commitment in me to say to Corrie ‘let me come back’.
“Corrie was and is very full-on when you’re busy and it makes me laugh because I know everyone has kids, but I’m like: ‘I’ve got kids so I can’t come at that time. I’ve got kids.’”
The engagement news comes after Brooke had shared a throwback photo of herself with mum Nicola Anderton, which shows that the mother and daughter are strikingly similar to each other.
She captioned the snap on Instagram: "It was always just us two."
Brooke is seen as a toddler wearing a blue floral dress and pointing towards the camera in the photo, while being held by her mother Nicola, who looks the spitting image of the actress today.
The pair have the same facial features and brown hair, as Nicola beamed while she cradled Brooke in her arms for the playground snap.
