Coronation Street's Bernie takes law into her own hands as she goes after paedo Kel

Bernie took the law into her own hands in tonight's Coronation Street as she went after paedophile Kel.

The mum was left devastated when she discovered the truth about her boyfriend's past with her son Paul.

She reported him to the police after she discovered a pile of half-naked photos of Paul hidden away at Kel's house.

But, she fears that she evidence against him is flimsy and that he could get away with it.

Tonight, she was seen taking matters into her own hands by marching down to the precinct where Kel works and scrawling the word "paedo" underneath a picture of him that was hanging on the security notice board.

But Bernie persisted, shouting: "It's true, he's got a thing for little boys."

She added: "How he's still got a job after being nicked for burglary is beyond me. He robbed a dead woman's laptop on the day of her funeral!"

"She's delusional," Kel insisted, but Bernie wouldn't drop it.

Kel went on: "You're saying I fancy little boys - you're not a little boy are you?"

A furious Bernie said:"Stop twisting it, you molested my son."

"You've got to believe me," she cried out.

Kel smirked as he watched them being escorted away (ITV)

Bernie launched herself at Kel and as they sruggled, he told her: "You can drop the concerned mum act, the only one that's ruined your son's life is you."

A fight ended up breaking out and Chesney accidentally pushed Kel to the floor, leaving him with a bleeding nose and leading to Bernie and Chesney being escorted out by security.
