A Coronation Street legend has eyed a part in Emmerdale after enjoying multiple soap roles.
We all know soapland can be a small place with acting talents switching from show to show. Former Coronation Street star Angela Lonedale, who played Emma Taylor, wife to Curly Watts, would love to appear in Emmerdale - who can blame her?
Talking to Inside Soap, Angela said: “I've been on so many now. I was in Corrie for years, then Doctors, and I did Holby City. I think I'm used to that way of working.

“Often in soap you do one take and move on, I like working like that. I think once you act in a soap you can do anything.”
Emmerdale would be a dream addition to Angela’s CV. She explained: “I wouldn't say no. I've been up there a few times and been close to getting a few parts – I wouldn't be opposed to joining another soap. It's nice to be part of a family, that's what I love about it."
