Coronation Street Jack P. Shepherd's show update sparks fears as fans spot 'problem'

Coronation Street fans spotted a "problem" as Jack P. Shepherd issued a show update.

The actor is one of the ITV soap's most recognisable faces for his performance as David Platt. The 34-year-old joined the cast in 2000 and has portrayed the character through some of the show's most dramatic storylines.

Jack has previously revealed how he harbours no plans to quit the show anytime soon and enjoys a positive relationship with his co-stars. He has taken to Instagram today to heap more praise on his cast members as he issued a gushing tribute.

He shared a behind the scenes snap which included his onscreen family members played by stars such as Julia Goulding, Helen Worth and Sue Nicholls. He said: "Work is so easy when these are your colleagues."

Kim said: "Beautiful Words!"

Dan posted: "The iconic family"

Jon commented: "Absolute legends. Barlow's who? Platts"

Holly posted: "The best Corrie family!!"

However, fans took to the comments to question the whereabouts of onscreen sister, Sarah Platt, who is played by Tina O'Brien.

Elliott said, alongside a laughing emoji: "Team pic without Sarah Lou? Rude"

Amy added: "Where’s Tina at"

KT commented: "Minus Tina O Brien."
