Coronation Street fans 'work out' who is hit with acid and it's not Daisy

Coronation Street scenes are set to take a dark turn on Monday, when Daisy Midgeley's stalker Justin Rutherford turns up in the Rovers ready to take his ultimate revenge.

Daisy, who is due to marry long-term partner Daniel Osbourne, began receiving unwanted attention from Justin, with things only becoming more terrifying for the Weatherfield barmaid.

As the bride-to-be prepares to leave the pub to set off for her wedding, Justin appears from the shadows, holding a glass of clear liquid.

On Monday, a clip shared from the official Coronation Street Instagram account showed Daisy looking incredible in her wedding dress, before Ryan tells a man in the corner he needs to drink up, and then Justin's voice can be heard.

Corrie said: "Coming up tonight! Justin pays Daisy a visit on her wedding day." And some soap fans now think it will be someone else who is hit with the acid.

Taking to the comments section, Pat said: "I think Ryan is the victim", as Amy added: "I do. Especially with the emphasis on him going to Ibiza. He won’t be going".

Sammie said: "I think poor Ryan will stick up for Daisy and he gets hurt instead". Anne said: "She looks beautiful, got a horrible feeling it's going to be Ryan".

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV and ITVX
