Coronation Street fans have rumbled who is behind Maria Connor's stalking hell.
The politician and Cobbles resident - played by Samia Longchambon - has been subjected to an ordeal after she made a plan about bins as a councillor and it wasn't too well received by the local people, who fumed at her for her idea.
As a result, someone seemingly set on her - and have been sending her horrific messages, trolling her on her videos, making pictures of her as though she was in an adult movie and she has even been targeted with a tracker in her handbag.
But now fans are sure they know who is stalking Maria and it's someone very close to Maria.
"Kelly is deffo stalking maria #corrie," one said, as a second agreed: "Got a feeling Kelly is stalking Maria #Corrie."
A third shared: "Kelly is behind all this Maria thing? #corrie," with a fourth penning online: "I reckon it could be Kelly - why was she so desperate to go the event with Maria when she didn't have to? #Corrie."
"It's obviously Kelly who's hounding Maria. #Corrie," a fifth wrote.
Others suggested they know why Kelly has decided to turn on Maria and it has everything to do with her partner Gary Windass.
"Imagine if it’s Kelly behind all this because she secretly knows what Gary did to her dad and is angry at Maria for supporting him #corrie #coronationstreet," one fan suggested on Twitter, giving their theory.
A second added: "I wonder if Kelly knows that Gary killed Rick? Hence why she could be tracking Maria to get some information."
On Wednesday's episode, Maria was horrified when she realised she was being tracked, after she got a notification on her phone which said she was being tracked by a third party device or app.
Panicked, she headed to the café and Nina managed to find the tracker in her bag, as she headed to the police to report what had happened. She was left disappointed when they told her there was nothing to do as those trackers - which are usually used to track someone's keys or other items - was not illegal, leaving Maria fearful of what will happen next.
