Coronation Street fans were in hysterics on Monday night after Sally Webster was arrested in spectacular fashion.
Sally was taken away from the local hospital kicking and screaming as she waited for her husband Tim Metcalfe to have heart surgery.
As the anaesthetic took effect, Tim (Joe Duttine) heard a commotion in the hospital corridor as Sally (Sally Dynevor) was arrested by a police officer - but he came round thinking it was all a dream.
However, it wasn't long before Sally's ex-husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) decided to tell him the truth about why Sally wasn't by his bedside.
As he held up the front of Weatherfield's local newspaper, there was a photo of Sally peeing in public alongside the headlines: "New Year's Wee."
Tim was confused as his daughter Faye explained that she had been nicked for a public order offence, and kicked a vending machine as the police tried to take her away.
Coronation Street viewers were in hysterics at the news and took to Twitter to comment.
One person posted: "Sally got arrested for having a wee I'm screaming What next? #Corrie."
Another said: "All that build up for Sally going for a wee! #Corrie #CoronationStreet."
Someone else joked: "So Sally had a naughty pee #Corrie haven't we all been there???"
A different person posted: "Sally gettting arrested for having a wee in the gardens is the funniest thing to happen in #Corrie in 2022 so far."
Towards the end of Monday's second episode of Corrie, Sally was reunited with Tim in hospital and when he asked if the police had charged her, she replied: "No, eventually they let me off with a caution."
