Coronation Street fans have two word solution to bring down Stephen

Coronation Street fans have come up with a simple two-word solution they think would see the soap's serial killer Stephen Reid caught red-handed.

Not content with committing two murders, Stephen's latest plan is to take the Underworld factory away from boss Carla Connor. Playing on her previous mental health history with psychosis, Stephen has been spiking her drinks with LSD in a bid to make her think she is having more episodes.

Stephen has had his ego bruised in recent weeks, as Carla has treated him like a dogsbody and embarrassed him in front of staff and clients, only further encouraging him to cause her downfall.

Wednesday's episode saw Carla visit her GP, worried her psychosis has returned, before she returned to Underworld and demanded Stephen make the drinks for her and some business reps.

Once again, her drink was tampered with by Audrey's son, as he poured the LSD into her coffee. The scenes led to many Corrie fans saying the same thing - they seem to think a simple blood test would catch him out.

Taking to Twitter, Louise said: "Why hasn’t Dr Gadass taken a blood test from Carla?", while David said: "Carla, just go to the doctors when Stephen spikes you, get a blood test and boom you’ll soon realise what’s wrong with you".

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITVX
