Coronation Street fans all have a message for Sally and Tim

Coronation Street fans were all in agreement as to what Sally and Tim should do following tonight's episode.

Earlier this year, Tim found out he had a heart condition that required a serious operation. Following his treatment, Tim was told to avoid 'strenuous exercise' and to rehaul his diet.

However, Tim's wife Sally has felt frustrated with his recovery, as the couple was ordered not to have sex. But after weeks of waiting, a consultant gave them the green light tonight.

Sally and Tim planned initially for some alone time in the morning but were interrupted by Tim's mum Elaine. Luckily, Cathy proposed that she and Elaine go to the cinema in the afternoon.

Sensing their opportunity, Sally dressed up in a nurse's uniform but once again they were disrupted by Elaine, who had returned home early. Sally and Tim apologised for their behaviour, but viewers had a different opinion.

Many said they would have asked Elaine to leave, stating the couple had no privacy. One tweeted: "Oh God, Elaine is so judgemental and annoying! It's Tim and Sally's house. She needs to leave."

Jay said: "If I was Tim and Sally, Elaine would be out on her a***! He is a grown man and she acts like he is five years old."

Ryan tweeted: "Sally and Tim need to tell Elaine to move out she is so overbearing."

And Josie said: "God Elaine constantly getting involved in Sally and Tim’s sex life is making me cringe so much!"
