Coronation Street's Adam Barlow looks set to regret his hasty revenge plan against Damon after discovering a local gangster has been murdered in cold blood.
Next week on the ITV soap, Adam is shocked when Nick shows off a story in the Gazette revealing that one of the brothers that Damon was involved with has been arrested for killing a local gangster.
Knowing that he spoke to a local gangster to get Damon out of their lives, Adam is terrified that Damon might be dead.
Meanwhile, Owen's boss Josie is delighted by Sarah's pitch and announces that she's happy to sign the contract.
Despite initially being thrilled, Sarah's mood sours when she discovers Adam scrolling through her phone. But the lawyer is flustered as he needs to know if she's heard from Damon as he's done something really stupid and confesses what he's done.
However, Sarah becomes becomes panicked as she tells Adam she's bleeding and that she might be losing the baby. After they rush to the hospital, Adam holds Sarah's hand as she has her scan.
Later, Sarah attempts to broach the subject of a paternity test with Adam, but he refuses to speak about it. He goes to Daniel to speak about the pregnancy scare, with Daniel saying that he'll find it tough to insist on an abortion even if Damon is the dad.
Adam snaps at Daniel and rushes off to court - but things don't go well for him as he begins to make his client's case.
Instead, Adam begins to sweat and shake, forcing him to abruptly leave the court room. Shocked, Dee Dee follows him and discovers that Adam is suffering from a panic attack.
At the end of the week, Adam tells Daniel that they are arranging to tell their families about the pregnancy.
However, Sarah later tells Adam that it's too early in the pregnancy to tell anyone, so instead he tells the Platts and Barlows that he's just won a big court case.
Everyone is underwhelmed, but Daniel arrives late and proposes a toast to the new baby...
