Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson and Emmerdale's Anthony Quinlan have confirm they are dating The pair become romantically involved last year, after the former Emmerdale actor message the current Hollyoaks star on social media.

Actress Nikki, who best known for her role as Candice Stowe in Coronation Street, and Anthony, who played Pete Barton in Emmerdale, announced their romance as they became 'Instagram official'. The couple posting loving tributes to each other on the social media platform.

Posting a sweet snap of herself smiling beside her boyfriend, Nikki publicly wished her man a happy birthday. Anthony sweetly responded, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The actress captioned the post: "The happiest of happy birthdays to the man who makes me smile the most. I hope your day is as amazing as you are. #birthdayboy #celebrate #boyfriend #love #happy @anthonyquinny.” Anthony replied: "Thank you baby" followed by love hearts.

Anthony also went on to repost a collage photo Nikki had shared on her Story, which showed the pair laughing and kissing as they stood with their arms wrapped around each other.

Speaking to OK! Anthony confirmed the relationship. He said: "The rumours are true. I'm just really, really happy. I've known Nik for a good few years – I said a good few years, probably 20 years now, it's around that. Yeah, the rumours are true. I can speak for myself and I'm really happy, she's a special girl, she's lovely!"
