News agency Bloomberg says Government officials have confirmed the date speaking on condition of anonymity. A public announcement is due. Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
Discussions are ongoing over whether there will be bank holidays around the Saturday coronation. The date would mark 70 years and one day on from his mum's coronation.
However, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed to Mirror.co.uk that any reports on a date is "purely speculation".
