Cops want to speak to this man after racist graffiti found at top Scots museum

IMAGES have been released of a man cops want to question as part of their investigation into racist graffiti in Glasgow.

Officers are looking into an incident where graffiti of a racist nature was tagged on a noticeboard at the rear of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum earlier this year.

They were made aware of this at around 9am on September 17.

In the midst of their investigation, they have unveiled CCTV footage of a man who they believe may be able to assist them.

He is described as white, aged between 16 and 20 years old, around 5ft 5in in height, of average build and with short, auburn hair.

He was using a blue coloured bike.

Inspector Mhairi Crawford of the community policing team said: “I would appeal to anyone who has any information or who recognises the man in the image to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 3275 of Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.
