Cops step up patrols in Falkirk town centre after anti-social behaviour complaints

More uniformed police officers are to be deployed to Falkirk town centre amid growing complaints of anti-social behaviour.

It is understood a number of businesses and locals have raised concerns to police about yobs running riot in the area.

Officers have today met with Falkirk Delivers, which is a business to business service in the town.

Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "Chief Inspector Craig Walker was in Callander Riggs today meeting with Elaine Grant from Falkirk Delivers to discuss anti-social behaviour in the town.

"Local officers will be undertaking additional high visibility patrols to deter anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance."

Anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour in the town is asked to reports incidents to cops on 101.
