Cops search for driver of red car following hit and run in Scots town

Police are hunting for a driver involved in a hit and run incident.

A pedestrian was struck by a red car in Denny on Tuesday afternoon, February 22, around 4pm, but the driver failed to stop.

Police in Falkirk have confirmed that the pedestrian hit was thankfully not seriously injured but are appealing for witnesses to the road accident.

A statement on Falkirk Police's Twitter page said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a road accident which happened in Denny town centre around 4pm on 22nd February.

" A red car collided with a pedestrian but didn’t stop. The pedestrian wasn’t seriously injured.

" If you can help then phone 101 and quote PS-20220223-0243".
