Police have returned to a construction site in Shetland as part of their ongoing investigation into the death of a young man.
We previously told how the alarm was raised at around 10.15am on Sunday, June 5 following reports that a 23-year-old had been injured in an industrial accident.
Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, raced to the site in the Upper Kergord area, 15 miles north of Lerwick.
The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The tragic incident is understood to have happened at a construction site for a wind farm.
A probe has since been launched, and today officers returned to the construction site as part of their ongoing enquiries to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "His family have been informed and are being supported.
"The Health and Safety Executive have also been made aware."
