Cops release CCTV images of two men after attack in Glasgow's south side

Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to in relation to an early morning attack which took place in the south side of Glasgow.

The assault happened outside 212 Kilmarnock Road in the Shawlands area around 1.45am on Sunday, May 29. Officers are keen to trace the pair as part of their ongoing inquiries into the incident.

The first man is described as being Asian, of medium build, around 6ft tall with black hair and a black full beard. He was wearing black over-ear headphones, a blue and white Champion zip top, black trousers and black trainers at the time of the incident.

The second man is described as being Asian, around 6ft tall, of slim build with medium length black hair and a black full beard. He was wearing a black puffer style jacket, black joggers and black Adidas trainers on the night in question.

Detective Constable Mark McCall, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “I would urge the men, or anyone who has information relating to either of these men depicted in the images, to make contact with the Police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101 quoting reference number 0462 of 29 May 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be passed on anonymously.”
