Police officers were seen standing guard outside a property in North Berwick on Thursday following the shocking deaths of two men in Edinburgh.
Locals say cops have been outside a property over 20 miles away in Phillimore Square in the East Lothian town for the last 48 hours.
The Record understands the police presence outside the home is related to the incident in a tower block in Greendykes Road, Niddrie on November 1, after the bodies of two men were found inside..
The men were confirmed dead at the scene in Edinburgh after emergency services raced to the area following an alleged incident at 8.25pm on Tuesday night.
A probe has since been launched into their deaths.
A 65-year-old man and a 40-year-old man have now been arrested in connection.
Police say enquiries into the alleged incident are continuing.
