A man who found dead on an Aberdeenshire street has been named as Andrew Ross.
The 52-year-old, from Aberdeen, was discovered dead outside a property in Ives Road, Peterhead, around 9pm on Sunday, February 5.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and officers cordoned off the street, erecting a blue forensic tent and taping off the area.
Two men, aged 21 and 27, have been arrested and charged in connection with Andrew's death and are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday, February 8.
A third man has been released without charge.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, his family said: “The family are coming to terms with their loss and respect privacy at this difficult time.”
A Police Scotland statement said: "Two men, aged 21 and 27, have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Peterhead.
"The man has been identified as Andrew Ross, 52, from Aberdeen.
"The incident was reported on Ives Road in the town around 9pm on Sunday, 5 February.
"In a statement released through Police Scotland, his family said: “The family are coming to terms with their loss and respect privacy at this difficult time.”
"The two men who have been charged are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 8 February, 2023.
"A third man has been released without charge."
