Cops launch urgent search for Scots man who vanished two weeks ago

Cops have renewed appeals for a Scots man who vanished over one week ago.

Kevin Campbell, 29, was originally reported missing from Stonehaven at around 6pm on September 29. However officers released an update this week saying the believe Kevin was spotted in the Montrose area on Thursday, October 6.

Police said again today that the hunt for Kevin continues and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Kevin is described as 5ft 8ins tall, with short brown hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing a black jumper when he disappeared.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Kevin was believed to be in the Montrose area a week ago on Thursday 6th October.

"Anyone who may have seen Kevin, or who has any information in relation to his whereabouts, can contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number PS-20221005-1979."

Missing People operate a free helpline 7 days a week from 9am – 11pm for anyone who is thinking of going missing, is currently missing, or has friends or family who are missing.
