Cops launch search for missing Falkirk man as he disappears overnight

A search has been launched for a man from Falkirk who has been missing since last night.

Police in Forth Valley say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for Robert Grierson's welfare and are appealing for information from the public.

Robert, who is 34 years old, was last seen on Ronades Road around 9.45pm on Saturday, April 16.

He is described as being white, 6ft 2in tall, of medium build with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey tracksuit top.

A photo of Robert has been issued by Police Scotland as part of the appeal.

Sergeant Lesley Rennie, of Falkirk Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Robert’s welfare.

"We would urge anyone who may have seen him or has any information on his whereabouts to contact police.”

Anyone with information should contact police via 101, quoting incident 3661 of 16 April.
