Cops have launched a frantic search for a missing Scot who vanished two days ago.

John Bell was reported missing from the Dykehead area of Shotts, Lanarkshire.

The 41-year-old was last seen at around 6pm on Monday, May 9.

John is described as white, 5'11", with short black hair, a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black NY baseball cap with red writing on it, black jacket, black tracksuit and white Nike trainers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen John since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident '1578 of 10th May 2022'."
