Missing Scot found safe and well after frantic search

A man who vanished from Lanarkshire has been found safe and well.

Kenneth Duncan hadn't been seen since around 3pm on Friday, February 25, in Family Choice Convenience Store on Farm Road in Hamilton.

Police soon launched and appeal and urged for anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Kenneth is known to frequent Hamilton and the Cathkin area of Glasgow.

On Wednesday morning Lanarkshire Police Division confirmed that he had been found safe and well.

Officers thanks all those who assisted with the search.

A statement from the force read: "We are pleased to report that 42-year-old Kenneth Duncan, missing from Hamilton since Friday 25 February, has been traced safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our information."
