Cops launch appeal to trace missing Lanarkshire woman last seen on Friday

Police have launched an appeal to trace a missing East Kilbride woman last seen on Friday.

It is believed Qudsia Tanveer, 21, boarded a bus heading to Manchester and cops in Lanarkshire are appealing for the public's help to trace her.

Police Scotland posted: "Qudsia was last seen about 5.45pm on Friday, September 23 and is descried as 5'1" tall, long black hair, brown eyes, medium build wearing a dark blue/grey tracksuit, black shoes carrying a blue/white backpack with a "Glasgow" logo and a leopard print suitcase.

"It is believed Qudsia boarded a bus heading to Manchester.

"Anyone who may have seen Qudsia since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 2898 of 25th September 2022."
