Cops launch appeal to trace missing 13-year-old Lanarkshire girl

An appeal has been launched to trace a missing 13-year-old from Lanarkshire not seen since Wednesday.

Police are appealing for the assistance of the public to help find 13-year-old Carly Louise Burnett who is missing from East Kilbride.

Carly was last seen around 10pm on Wednesday, February 22, in The Murray area of the town.

She is described as white, 5 ft 3 in height, of slim build and has long brown hair.

She was wearing a black North Face jacket, a blue jumper, brown/red Nike jogging bottoms and white Nike trainers.

Insp. Neil Wilson told Lanarkshire Live: "Police, along with her family, just want to make sure Carly is safe and well and for her to come home.

"If you have any information about where she is, please call officers via 101."

Information can also be shared anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
