Police are carrying out 'extensive enquiries' to track down a missing pensioner who was last seen driving towards the East Lancs Road. Leslie Fielding was last seen at around 7pm yesterday (June 18) when he left home in Haydock, St Helens, near to the Greater Manchester border at Wigan.
Merseyside Police says the 77-year-old speaks with a Manchester accent. He is described as 6ft tall, of medium build and with short grey hair.
At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a light blue/grey Adidas top, jogging bottoms and trainers. Leslie was driving a silver Toyota RAV 4 car with tinted rear windows towards the A580 at the time of his disappearance.

Merseyside Police has issued a second appeal to find Leslie this morning (Monday) following his disappearance yesterday. A spokesperson for the force said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him."
Images of both Leslie and the type of car he was driving have been released alongside the appeal. Anyone who sees Leslie or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Merseyside Police by using this online form, messaging @MerPolCC on social media or by calling 101.
