Cops 'increasingly concerned' for Scots dad missing for nearly two weeks

Police are growing increasingly concerned for a Scots dad last seen in Skye who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Cops have issued issued a new appeal over Harry Macdonald who was last seen on Wednesday, September 21.

Now police say last confirmed sighting of Harry was several days before around 4.45pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Beech Gardens near to the nature walk in Portree.

It's also been revealed that Harry left his dog with a family member before saying he was going on a walk, an action that has been described as "completely out of character".

Harry is described as white, 6ft 2ins in height, with white/grey receding hair and dark, bushy eyebrows. When last seen he wearing a navy blue hoodie, blue jeans, black walking boots and a red sports watch.

Inspector Craig Johnstone : “We are re-appealing for information to help trace Harry as his family remain extremely concerned and anxious about his welfare.

“Harry left his dog with a family member, which is completely out of character for him to do and said he was going on a walk.

"Extensive searches have been carried out and these will continue throughout the local area.

"If anyone has noticed someone matching his description, I would urge them to contact police as a matter of urgency.

"If you have any information which could assist with our enquiries, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2186 of Wednesday, 21 September, 2022.”
