Cops 'increasingly concerned' for missing Scots woman who vanished in Carluke

Concern is growing for a missing Scots woman who was seen in Carluke. Fiona Hobson, 48, was last seen on Kirkton Street in the town at around 10.50am on Sunday, 21 August.

Police Scotland have issued a desperate appeal to trace the Falkirk local. Fiona is described as being 5ft 3ins, of slim build, with brown hair.

Authorities say that she was last seen wearing a dark green and bright bright green jacket, a grey and blue cardigan, dark green and lime green trousers and purple shoes. Officers are urging anyone who has seen Fiona to get in touch.

Sergeant Cameron Morton, of Lanark Police Station, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Fiona and are urging anyone who may have seen her, or know where she is, to contact us."

"I would ask anyone with information that can help us to find Fiona to get in touch with us immediately via 101, quoting reference number 1443 of Sunday, 21 August, 2022.”
