Cops in Lanarkshire launch frantic bid to find missing man who may have been injured in crash

The search is on to find a missing Coatbridge man after his car was found damaged in the early hours of this morning.

Sean Fallon has been reported missing to police, who say they are “concerned” that no one has heard from the 32-year-old

His car was found found badly damaged in the Townhead Road area around 1.05am this morning (October 26) and police say he may have been injured as a result.

However, hospitals have been checked and there is no record of Sean attending for treatment.

A police source told us: “Officers are checking for any relevant CCTV footage from the surrounding area, which may provide additional information about where Sean may have gone.

“His family is extremely worried about him and wants to know he is safe and well.

“He has not been in touch with them and concern for him is growing.”

Sean is described as white, around 6ft 3in tall, with short, dark hair.

He has links to the Motherwell and Kilsyth areas of Lanarkshire, and enquiries are being carried out in those areas.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
