Police are hunting a gang of youths after car was torched in Cumbernauld.
The white BMW was found ablaze at around 11.25pm on Sunday, September 4 in Medlar Road and was quickly extinguished by fire crews.
A groups of youths in dark clothing were seen running away from the scene.
There were no reports of any injuries or any damage to property.
Officers are appealing for information on the deliberate fire.
DC Billy Murray told Lanarkshire Live : "We are keen to trace a group of youths who were seen to make off from the area. They were dressed in dark clothing.
"Anyone who has any information as to who was responsible is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
