Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring 2025 Street Style Is Equal Parts Late Summer and Early Fall

We're entering into that tricky time of year. No, we're not talking Halloween or about to begin a rant about the fact that Halloween candy is already lining store shelves. It has everything to do with that transitional period when it doesn't feel like summer anymore, but it also doesn't feel like fall. Fortunately, Copenhagen Spring 2025 street style is brimming with ideas on how to successfully navigate trans-seasonal dressing.

Summer in the Danish capital calls for showing some selective skin. Whether that may be through crop tops or sporting button-downs with some of the buttons open. Then there's the no pants vibe accomplished by briefs or allowing the underwear or boxer's waistband to pop out up top. Vests are sported solo, but can carry over to fall when layered over a shirt or sweater. Or layered under a blazer for that three-piece-suit look. There's even a healthy dose of laser-cut accents, which help provide additional ventilation when needed.

On the fall side, there are blazers worn over hot weather-appropriate dresses, long skirts and lightweight jackets. It's also apparently sweater weather as attendees rocked non-sweat-inducing knits. There are plenty of boots to admire, from chunky to super sleek.

When it comes to bags, texture rules. Some are small and furry, others are considered more medium with ruffles. Adding accents to purses is another trend that keeps on growing. (Probably a reaction to Miu Miu's over-cluttered bags carried down the brand's Spring 2024 runway.) Bag charms, including cartoon characters, and strategically tied scarves jazz up several carryalls.

This season's headwear game is pretty strong. We're talking crochet beanies, neutral baseball caps, patterned headscarves and slightly off-center berets. There is even one candy pink topper that reminds us of macarons or even soft serve. Sunglasses are also used to make a variety of statements. One colorful rectangular pair is attached to a string of pearls so there's no need to worry about misplacing them in some venue after taking the shades off to take in a runway show. Black, both frame and lenses, sunglasses are highly favored, but present in a myriad of shapes and thicknesses. If you're kind of been there, done that, take inspiration from the solid showing of clear shades. A couple of pairs could even be mistaken for prescription glasses.
