Police patrols were stepped up in Falkirk town centre, including officers on horseback, as they dealt with "a number of incidents" on Friday night.
It’s after reports of anti-social behaviour in recent weeks and yobs running riot in the area.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with threatening and abusive behaviour during the operation last night.
Earlier in the week, we told you how cops had met with Falkirk Delivers, a business to business service, to launch Falkirk Safer Streets and discuss concerns raised by locals business owners and residents.
Posting on Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "PH Elgin and Harris joined Falkirk Community Team tonight in patrols of Falkirk Town Centre.
"Officers engaged with youths and responded to a number of incidents.
"Including dealing with a 17-year-old male charged with acting in a threatening an abusive manner."
