As day two of Cleveland Browns training camp rolls around, and a month after the conclusion of the hearing, there is still no decision rendered on QB Deshaun Watson’s discipline. The Browns have started camp with both Watson and backup QB Jacoby Brissett taking snaps.
On the first day of camp, HC Kevin Stefanski reiterated that Brissett would be the team’s starter. The addition of QB Josh Rosen did not impact that decision at all.
The addition of WR Amari Cooper, on the other hand, is expected to have a huge impact on the team. Cooper has embraced his role as one of the leaders on offense and is prepared to do his job no matter who is at quarterback.
On day two of camp, Cooper said he can make it easy on whoever is throwing the ball by getting open:

Cooper also discussed the play of Watson. When asked to compare his new QB to his old ones, Derek Carr and Dak Prescott, Cooper joked that they all wore #4. He also shared his nickname for Watson:

"He just makes plays."

The team hopes to know soon if their starting quarterback will disappear due to discipline and for how long. For now, Cooper knows his job and is prepared to do it.
