Cooper Kupp may now hold the honor of being the most wide-open receiver in the history of the NFL after one play during Week 15’s Rams-Commanders game.
Washington's defense, which has had its fair share of troubles defending opposing passing attacks this season, fell victim to the mother of all blown coverages in the third quarter. Kupp, who was streaking down the sideline, didn't have a single Commanders defender within a 25-mile radius of him on the play.
He caught the deep ball from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for what was likely one of the easiest touchdowns of his career. But all NFL fans could talk about after the play was just how wide-open Kupp was.
