The Los Angeles Rams are looking to trade Cooper Kupp in the near future. The veteran receiver posted a message on social media that the Rams are seeking a trade “immediately,” though he made it clear he doesn’t agree with the decision.
Kupp says he believed his career would begin and end in Los Angeles, but he’s ready for the next chapter after eight years with the Rams.
The team will work with Kupp and his family to find a suitor, a team where he can “continue competing for championships.”
The Rams spoke to teams about a possible trade before the deadline in October but a deal never came to fruition, so he remained with the team for the rest of the season.
Kupp has a cap hit of $29.78 million in 2025, which is certainly part of this decision to move on from him.
I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA.
