Philadelphia Eagles rookie Cooper DeJean returned three passes for touchdowns after picking them off in college at Iowa. He has his first as a pro, intercepting Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter of Super Bowl 59 and bringing it 38 yards for the pick-six.
The Eagles’ defense was smothering Mahomes, who had been sacked three times with a third of the second quarter left.
DeJean’s pick and the subsequent PAT made it 17-0 as the Eagles tried to deny the Chiefs a three-peat.
