The Eagles are up 17-0 on the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, and it’s been an emotional game for Saquon Barkley and Cooper DeJean. The veteran running back and rookie cornerback are looking to win their first Super Bowl championship, and even more incredible, Barkley and DeJean share a February 9 birthday.
The 22-year-old DeJean was born on this day in 2003, while the 28-year-old Barkley was born in 1997.
DeJean capped his birthday off with a 38-yard interception return off Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a touchdown. That score made NFL history.
Cooper DeJean becomes the first player in NFL history to score a TD in the Super Bowl on his birthday 🎂
