Conversations with Friends cast and where you've seen them before

Conversations with Friends will be arriving on TV soon and some familiar faces are starring in the BBC Three series. The Sally Rooney adaptation - a 12-episode mini series - had been in the pipeline since the success of Normal People, the adaptation of Rooney's second novel.

It is set in Dublin and tells the story of Frances and Bobbi, two college students who became best friends after a long-term relationship together. The pair meet couple Melissa and Nick, who are in their early thirties. All of their lives become entangled as Frances grows close to Nick and Bobbi gets closer to Melissa.

Conversations with Friends will be available on BBC Three from Sunday (May 15). It will also be available on Hulu for American fans. The cast was announced back in February and includes one newcomer and a couple of faces you will probably recognise.

He is also known for being singer Taylor Swift's partner of six years and co-writing some of her songs including Exile and Betty.

The 31-year-old's first big part came in 2016 when he played the lead role in Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, acting alongside Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel and Steve Martin. Mostly known as a film actor, Conversations With Friends will be one of his first major TV roles.
