A construction worker claims he was sacked from his job with a building contractor at Anfield Stadium for filming on his mobile phone.
Electrician Kevin Moore, 44, was working for construction firm Buckingham Group Contracting, who are delivering the expansion to the Anfield Road end of the stadium. Mr Moore, from Waterloo, said he was removed from the job on Wednesday (June 14), after a video he had taken inside the ground emerged.
Mr Moore said he sent the video to two different WhatsApp groups but did not share it publicly on social media. However, the video then appeared on a number of public social media sites, which he claimed was not due to him.

The ECHO understands that Mr Moore was sent home by the contractor due to Buckingham's staff policy which prohibits the use of mobile phones on site for personal purposes.
Mr Moore told the ECHO: "I had been working on the job for five weeks. I took the selfie videos, sent them to a family group and a golf group.
"Somehow from there it just exploded on WhatsApp and they ended up all over social media. I don't know how."
Mr Moore added: "I take videos a lot of the time. It’s just something I do, I didn’t post it publicly.
"I just sent it to two private groups. I’ve no idea how that video got around because I sent it to family and friends."
In the video, which has circulated widely on social media, Mr Moore shows the view from the expanded stand, which is set to increase Anfield's capacity by 7,000. He pans around the pitch and comments on the distance from the stand, as well as saying that the development was "beginning to take shape".
A second video shows Mr Moore leaving the site after he claims he has been sacked.
Mr Moore claims he was sacked at around 10am on Wednesday (June 14). He claims he was told on site that he was being let go and said he has found a new job, beginning next week.
