Conor McMenamin's scintillating form may create something of a catch-22 for Danske Bank Premiership leaders Glentoran.
The Northern Ireland international was unplayable at times as the Glens demolished Larne on Friday night - scoring two and setting up the other two.
And while the former Cliftonville forward continues to light up The Oval with his displays boss Mick McDermott is all too aware that it will also attract some admiring gazes for clubs across the water.

McDermott is relaxed about the situation though and feels that McMenamin is happy in east Belfast.
"Conor was like that last year too and he got into the Northern Ireland squad because of his performances," said the glens boss.
"I'm sure there's interest, but until the interest becomes a reality nothing happens.
"Conor's happy, I think he's happy where he is at the moment, and every player wants to be happy.
"I think we have a squad at the minute that's content playing here with each other, and we'd like to keep that going no doubt."
Friday night's result moved the Glens two points clear at the top of the league but McDermott is not getting carried away.
“It was a pleasing performance but we are only 11 games in, we’ll not get carried away,” he said.
“It’s only three points. We had some great passages of play, especially in the second half. Conor (McMenamin) was in one of those moods.”
It was another clean sheet in the bag for Glentoran as well, and as someone pointed out we have now had two monarchs and three Prime Ministers since a team last breached their defence in the league.
"The target is always not to concede," said McDermott.
"You saw in the first half Larne had a corner which dropped at the near post but there were about five black shirts throwing themselves at it.
"I don't think they sliced us open, but to give them credit they did have a lot of territory from set pieces."
