Conor McGregor warned Hasbulla will "whoop his a**" if he confronts UFC signing

Conor McGregor has been told Hasbulla will "whoop his a**" if he comes face-to-face with the UFC's newest addition.

Hasbulla, who has a type of dwarfism known as Growth Hormone Deficiency [GHD], is known for being friends with McGregor's bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. The pair have been trading verbal barbs on social media for several weeks after the Irishman decided to label his new rival a "smelly inbred".

The Russian star has since signed a contract with the UFC in which it was initially assumed he would appear at UFC events and complete media duties. However the social media star has since claimed he will compete as a fighter in the promotion with details to be announced at the end of the year.

And UFC president Dana White has joked McGregor could face a rude awakening if he bumps into Hasbulla at a UFC fight in the future. "He shouldn't f*** around because he will get his a** whooped if he runs into him on the streets," White joked in an interview on My Mum's Basement.

After being victim of McGregor's unprovoked social media attack, Hasbulla became defensive and it didn't take him long to bring up his rival's former conqueror Nurmagomedov. He replied on Twitter : “I don’t follow bums, didn’t know someone was running their mouth... @ me next time Conor McGregor.

"At least one of us kept an undefeated record. Hasbulla 1. McGregor 0. I have my UFC contract now, if Conor McGregor is really a man, see me in Abu Dhabi. Got smashed by Khabib Nurmagomedov already. Guess his money from Mayweather ran out and he needs more attention.”

Hasbulla recently signed a deal with the UFC (Zuffa LLC)

Hasbulla will be cageside for his friend Islam Makhachev's maiden title challenge this weekend against Charles Oliveira at UFC 280. McGregor is unlikely to be in attendance as he continues his return to training ahead of a potential comeback which has now been set back until next year.

Hasbulla confirmed he would indeed compete in the cage despite reports to the contrary from White that his father would not allow him to compete as a fighter. The 20-year-old then recently continued his pursuit of the former double champion by making a request to White that he is allowed to fight him. "Hey uncle Dana White and UFC please make it happen," he tweeted.

"Let me eat this chicken Conor McGregor. I'm hungry, I’ll smash him with my mountain spirit. My brother Khabib [Nurmagomedov] smashed him and all his team, now is my time to rise!" However McGregor instead proposed a sparring match on social media, writing: "Let me spar Hasbulla UFC. Big gloves and a friendly affair I swear."
