Conor McGregor UFC news: Love Island winner Greg O'Shea channels his inner Notorious with Amber Gill

Irish Love Island winner Greg O'Shea replicated one of Conor McGregor's famous sayings as he reflected on his stunning victory on the reality show.

The Limerick native and Ireland Sevens star was only the show for two weeks as the last person to be drafted in.

He coupled up for original islander Amber Gill and the pair scooped the £50,000 top prize last weekend.

A week after the final show, the entire cast was brought back together on Sunday night for the traditional reunion.

And when asked how he was going to spend the money, Greg brought out his inner McGregor.

In 2013, UFC star McGregor took just 67 seconds to stop Marcus Brimage on his debut in the promotion.

And in his post-fight interview, he called on UFC chief Dana White to pay him the £60,000 bonus for "KO of the night.

"Dana... 60Gs baby!" he yelled - and the later got his wish.

And on Sunday, Greg paid tribute, crying: "50Gs baby: when asked about his spending plans.

He added: "[Amber] slagged me for how terrible my wardrobe was so I've had to buy some proper shoes. The rest will probably be invested boringly enough

"We've only been out of the villa for six days but its been incredible, we haven't left each other's side.

"We have the freedom to do what we want but everyone wants a piece of this girl, coming up for photos.

"Her family and friends are lovely, v similar to my family, loud and very welcoming."

It's not the first time Greg has imitated his countryman after performing the 'billionaire strut' in the villa.

Originally coined by WWE boss Vince McMahon, McGregor frequently pulled it off during his career.

And Greg, along with fellow finalist Maura Higgins, strolled through the bathroom imitating the two-time UFC champion.
